 两获奥斯卡的Sean Penn将饰演男主角Tom Haggerty，是位前太空总署太空人﹑已离开《指定幸存者 Designated Survivor》的Natascha McElhone饰演有梦想﹑负责火星任务的公司的英籍CEO﹑LisaGay Hamilton饰演一名永远把任务放在优先位置的太空人。
